A person is in custody Wednesday night after deputies said they stole a deputy’s car in Wayne County.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect stole the car and left the scene of an investigation in the county. It is unclear where the scene was.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect led deputies on a chase before they were stopped in Mount Olive.
Deputies told WRAL News that no one was injured
