SwitchBot announced something really interesting during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The product in question is called the SwitchBot K20+ Pro, which the company refers to as the “world’s first multitasking household robot”.

As part of FusionPlatform, SwitchBot is using the ClawLock mechanism to physically connect the mini robot vacuum to various accessories. That allows you to connect the air purification platform to it, as well as a number of others.
This makes it possible for you to adapt the SwitchBot K20+ Pro to your needs. You can change this as you see fit. It can be a home security system when you’re not home, or vacuum your house. It can serve as a small delivery assistant when you are home, and purify your home’s air. And so on.

So, let’s take a closer look at some of its capabilities. Let’s kick things off with the fact it can become a delivery assistant, thanks to FusionPlatform. It can deliver your food and drinks, and also carry small packages.
This robot can carry up to 8 kg of weight, which is not too shabby, not at all. It can easily carry a tray with food, a smaller package, or even a pet, without a problem.
If you need a home security unit, it’s not a problem
This robot can also be your home security system, in a way. If you equipped it with the SwitchBot Pan/Tilt Cam Plus 2K or 3K, the K20+ Pro Patrol Kit offers real-time monitoring, advanced motion detection, and instant notifications.
Thanks to the SwitchBot app, you can also see what’s going on in real-life. It basically turns this robot in a full-fledged home security system.
This robot can also clean the air around your house
The SwitchBot K20+ Pro can also improve the air quality in your house. Thanks to the SwitchBot Air Purifier Kit, you can turn this robot into a proper air purification unit.
It can move from one room to the next in order to purify the air. It can neutralize allergens, odors, and also pollutants.
Vacuuming is not a problem either

It will be available to purchase later this year
The company said that the SwitchBot K20+ Pro will be available to order from the official website later this year. Multiple kit options will be at your disposal.
