Ferrell plays Marty, a wealthy man lacking in confidence when he meets Dr. Ike, superbly played by Rudd. Unfortunately for Marty, Dr. Ike knows exactly how to spend his patient’s inherited fortune, which he proceeds to do during the course of several decades.
Physical

If you’ve been sleeping on Physical, it’s time to slip into some spandex and get to class. Rose Byrne is fantastic as Sheila, a stifled housewife who finds herself on a journey of self-discovery thanks to some very Jane Fonda-esque ’80s aerobic sessions. The ever dreamy Paul Sparks plays a local mall owner who crosses paths with the married mother while she’s rising to the top.

Pachinko

Based upon the 2017 novel of the same name by Min Jin Lee, Pachinko explores Japan’s colonization of Korea in the early 1900s and the lasting impact on its residents. Created by Soo Hugh, the TV series spans four generations of one family, who ultimately face discrimination after migrating to Japan. Youn Yuh-jung’s performance as protagonist Kim Sunja has been rightfully met with acclaim.
Loot

Loot is easily one of the most charming sitcoms to hit our screens in quite some time. Maya Rudolph shines as Molly, a recently divorced billionaire unsure of what to do with her life. After receiving a phone call from the charitable foundation set up in her name, she realizes that there’s more to life than mega-yachts and private jets. This unusual workplace comedy works because of its fantastic cast and witty one-liners that often catch you off guard. Not to be missed.

Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s collaboration is an unflinching look at the often stigmatized conversation surrounding mental health. WeCrashed tracks the ups and downs of one of tech’s most surprising, and disastrous, start-ups.
Surface

The Morning Show‘s Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars in this twisty psychological thriller. The series follows Sophie, a woman who is experiencing an extreme form of memory loss after suffering a traumatic head injury. While her injuries are initially thought to be the result of a suicide attempt, Sophie starts to question everything in her life, including the people closest to her.
The Afterparty

The Afterparty is a comedy murder mystery series starring a slew of comic talent including Tiffany Haddish, Dave Franco, and Ilana Glazer. A high school reunion serves as the location of a whodunnit, with each episode telling the story through another character’s eyes.

Mythic Quest

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stalwart Rob McElhenney co-created and stars in this workplace sitcom set in a video game studio. McElhenney plays Ian (pronounced Iron) Grimm, a larger-than-life gaming bro who does a pretty bad job of motivating the rest of the Mythic Quest staff.
The Big Conn

This docu-series tracks the rise and fall of attorney, Eric C. Conn, who managed to defraud the government out of half a billion dollars. The magnitude of Conn’s Social Security fraud case is nothing short of shocking, and the series examines the key players in his lucrative scheme. The Big Conn also doesn’t shy away from showing the victims most devastated by his actions.

M. Night Shyamalan’s creepy TV series focuses on a young couple trying to recover from a devastating tragedy. They hire a young nanny to care for their son, but she arrives to find an incredibly lifelike reborn doll instead. Palm Royale

Everything that Kristen Wiig touches turns to comedic gold, and this comedy-drama is no different. Set in Palm Beach, Florida in 1969, it follows Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons (Wiig), a former beauty queen from Tennessee as she attempts to break into high society’s social circles. Step one? Figure out how to score a membership at the Palm Royale, the most exclusive country club around. Presumed Innocent

This gripping Apple TV+ legal thriller enthralled viewers with its impeccable writing and all-star cast. The miniseries follows Rusty Sabich (Jake Gyllenhaal), who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of one of his colleagues. A seemingly picture-perfect family man, Sabich is wholeheartedly supported by his wife (Ruth Negga) in his claim of innocence.
