The Ultra variants of the Galaxy S phones have typically been the most exciting variants, but that might change next year. While the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a ton of hype around it, our attention remains on the Galaxy S25 Slim. Rumors say that this phone will have a much thinner profile, and that’s all that we know. Well, thanks to some new leaks, we might know some of the Galaxy S25 Slim’s specs.
Of course, you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. Right now, we’re still several months away from this phone’s launch. Samsung hasn’t given away any official information about this phone.
However, a recent leaked Galaxy Unpacked promo image may have just showed it… sorta. The image, which you see below, shows four devices. We know that three of them are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Unless Samsung is launching a Galaxy S25 Ultra Mini FE+, we can guess that the fourth device is the Galaxy S25 Slim.
It seems odd that Samsung would showcase this device so early in the year, as rumors point to the Galaxy S25 Slim coming in the second quarter of the year. Only time will tell.
Some of the Galaxy S25’s specs have surfaced
Several sources just spilled the beans on the Galaxy S25 Slim, and it looks like Samsung might pull out all of the stops with this phone. Starting off with a leak from reputable tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Slim could be under 7mm thick. Ice refers to the thichness as “6.xmm”. So, it could be anywhere between 6.9mm and 6mm. Either way, that’s rather thin, as some of the thinnest phones on the market are around 7mm thick.
Ice also says that this phone will have a screen size of 6.66 inches. That’s a pretty average screen size. It’s outside of the small phone category, but it’s not quite a tank.
Camera
Moving onto the camera specs, Tipster Debayan Roy claims that the Galaxy S25’s main camera could pack 200 megapixels. 200MP cameras are becoming more common among smartphones. Along with that, this phone could have a 50MP ultrawide camera. Lastly, it could also have a 3.5x telephoto camera with a 50MP resolution. Obviously, these cameras will bin down to a lower resolution by default.
Samsung could use the ISOCELL HP5 sensor for the main camera and the ISECELL JN5 for the other two. We don’t know what to expect for the selfie camera.
Battery & Processor
As for the battery, these specs might be a little disappointing. The battery capacity could be 5,000mAh, but it could also be as low as 4,700mAh. Well, sacrifices need to be made in the name of thinness.
We’ve followed rumors about Samsung using a Snapdragon processor for its upcoming phones and rumors about it using an Exynos processor. Well, acording to the tipsters, it looks like the Galaxy S25 Slim will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
