The US variant of the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has popped up on Geekbench. The phone appeared under the SM-A366U model number. The ‘U’ in the model number indicates the ‘US’ variant.

The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has appeared on Geekbench

This phone managed to score 967 points in the single-core, and 2,750 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The listing also revealed that an octa-core SoC will be used, one form Qualcomm. Everything points to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip.

This listing also reveals that the phone will include 6GB of RAM. Android 15 will come pre-installed here, with Samsung’s One UI 7 skin. This phone will be quite affordable. Its predecessor arrived in March last year, so… this one is expected to arrive in Q1 2025, along with the Galaxy A56 5G.

Two other Galaxy smartphones got certified

Two additional Galaxy smartphones have been spotted online. The Samsung SM-M066B/DS and SM-E066B/DS phones have surfaced on Wi-Fi Alliance. It seems like these are the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy F06 5G phones.

This listing did not reveal much information about either phone. All we know is that they’ll support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. We also don’t know when will these two budget phones become official.

Samsung’s flagships will take the spotlight soon

Before any of these smartphones launch, chances are we’ll get to see the Galaxy S25 series launch. Samsung has confirmed that its new flagships will become official on January 22, so only a couple of weeks from now.

Those three smartphones, or possibly four, will definitely overshadow any other announcement Samsung may be getting ready. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are coming. Samsung did tease a fourth smartphone, though, at least it seems that way. So, the Galaxy S25 Slim may get teased at the very least, as it’s not expected to arrive at the same time as its siblings.
