This is Samsung W25, it's based on Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition

Two upcoming smartphones from Samsung have just surfaced. The devices in question are the Samsung W25 and Samsung W25 Flip, the first of which is based on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition that recently launched.

The Samsung W25 is basically the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition for the Chinese market

You will not see the ‘W’ series phones in global markets, though. That’s the naming Samsung uses in China, and it usually changes the paint job a bit, along with including new retail box and so on.

Well, based on this leak, that’s what’s going to happen this time around too. The Samsung W25 will take the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition’s design, while the Samsung W25 Flip will basically be the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a different outside look.

So, the Samsung W25 is the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition for China, as the latter launched in Korea only. Those are also the only two markets this phone will be available in, at least based on reports.

If you check the gallery below, you’ll see the Samsung W25. The phone is black-colored with golden highlights. Its frame is also gold-colored, while the sides also have a pattern to them, it’s not your regular smooth metal finish.

The Samsung W25 Flip, on the other hand, comes with the same colorway, actually. It’s black-colored with gold accents and gold-colored sides that have a pattern to them.

Both phones come with a case in the box, along with a charger, charging cable, and a SIM ejector tool. Well, on top of the usual paperwork that you can expect on the inside.

These two devices are expected to launch in the near future, though we don’t know when exactly at this point. It remains to be seen if Samsung will change its mind and offer the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition to global consumers. That’s not as likely, though.
