OPPO has been teasing its new Find N5 foldable for the past few weeks, with an announcement coming up before the end of the month. And now, thanks to Evan Blass, we have a fresh batch of renders for the Find N5, showing it in purple, white, and black colors.
The OPPO Find N5 is said to be a very thin foldable, in fact, that’s been most of OPPO’s marketing for the device so far. OPPO claims that it is going to be the thinnest foldable in the world, though these renders don’t show that. Part of this is because of OPPO using flat sides – just like the Find N3 had.
On the back side, we can see the triple-camera setup, along with the flash. The style of the camera module has changed a bit, it honestly looks a bit more like the HONOR Magic V3, versus its predecessor, the Find N3. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though.
Our first full look at the OPPO Find N5
Surprisingly, OPPO has done quite well with keeping the Find N5 under wraps. Most of what we’ve seen of the Find N5 comes from OPPO themselves. So we’ve seen portions of the phone, mainly the thinness and most recently, the screen turned off to show off the lack of a crease. Now, thanks to this leak, we get a full look at the OPPO Find N5, including that camera module, and the lack of bezels.
The displays are both said to be larger this time around, and that might be due to the thinner bezels on both of them. The internal display is said to be 8-inches, similar to Google’s new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. What’s most interesting about this is, the lack of a frame on the outer display. Both the Find N3 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold have a pretty thick bezel on the left side where the hinge is. It’ll be interesting to see how this looks in real life.
As far as the colors go, it looks like each one has a different texture. The black color appears to be your usual matte glass finish. While the white might be the same pearl finish that we had on the Find X8 Pro, and the Purple looks to be a faux leather material. Which we did have on the Find N3.
We, for one, can’t wait for this foldable to be made official. As it looks to be one of the biggest upgrades we might see in a smartphone this year.
Update: Arsene Lupin has also just posted some renders of the OPPO Find N5 on X, which are in higher resolution as well.
