The Pixel 9 was only released in August, but you wouldn’t know it considering how good the deals have been.
On Black Friday, Amazon US dropped the price of Google’s high-end phone from $799 to just $649, the lowest price it’d ever been. Usually, we’d expect prices to stay the same on Cyber Monday, but the Pixel 9 is now even cheaper – it’s currently just $641.98.
It’s worth noting that this price only applies to the 128GB Obsidian finish. The Wintergreen model you see in the photos here costs $649, though that’s still excellent value.
Need more storage? The 256GB model is down to $749 from $849, regardless of the colour you choose. Aside from a short period in mid-November, that’s the lowest price it’s ever been.
Neither of these deals are specifically marketed as part of Amazon’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday event, but the discounts are no coincidence. With prices and stock likely to fluctuate, we’d encourage you to take advantage before the Amazon sale ends at 11.59pm PST tonight.
As our full review shows, there are plenty of reasons why you might want to buy the Pixel 9. It offers Google’s premium hardware, gorgeous display and top-tier cameras at an impressively affordable price, not to mention the extensive AI and class-leading software support.

There are compromises, but these are much easier to look beyond when you’re paying much less than at launch.
However, it’s not the only discounted Pixel 9 model for Cyber Monday. Amazon has $200 off the starting price of the Pixel 9 Pro, bringing it down to just $799.
Or there’s the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which is $849 instead of its usual $1,099.
And if you’re in the market for a foldable, look no further than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. If the $1,799 asking price has put you off, a $300 discount makes it much more appealing.
