THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) – The Thomasville Police Department (TPD) is investigating a stolen vehicle incident and several entering auto incidents.
According to TPD, a vehicle was stolen from the Covington Avenue and Remington Avenue areas. While investigating, police discovered that several vehicles were entered in the area during the night of Monday, April 14. They believe that property including firearms were stolen.
Police believe that there was a theft victim in Cairo, Georgia as well. TPD is working with the Cairo Police Department to identify the victim.
With the help of Georgia State Patrol, the stolen vehicle was recovered and two juveniles were apprehended.
Anyone missing items from their vehicles is asked to contact the Thomas County dispatch at (229) 226-2101, and an officer will make contact with you.
