Three Rochester teens arrested after stolen car chase that ended in Greece – 13WHAM-TV

Greece, N.Y. — Three teens were arrested following a stolen car chase that ended in Greece Saturday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., officers were alerted to two stolen Hyundais that were traveling on Dewey Avenue.

Officers attempted to stop both cars, but they both fled the scene, leading to a pursuit.

The chase ended when one of the stolen cars turned onto Surrey Road, where it lost control and drove off the roadway, resulting in the other stolen car colliding with it.

Following the chase, the teens fled on foot but were all taken into custody.

Three 16-year-old teens face criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle charges.

Greece police said this was another case that highlights the effective use of License Plate Reader (LPR) technology along with the strong teamwork of their officers.
