All the announced products emphasize smart living, thanks to their seamless integration into TP-Link’s existing ecosystem. One of the standout products TP-Link announced at CES 2025 is the Dual-Lens Camera Tapo C675D KIT aka the Tapo HybridCam Duo.

Outdoor home security cameras have been here for decades. They are generally handy for surveillance purposes, giving you a decent shot of your front lawn. However, it’s always good to have an extra camera that gives you a close-up view of your visitors. While installing two different sets of cameras outside of your smart home is possible, a hybrid camera setup can be equally good. That’s why TP-Link’s Tapo HybridCam Duo stands out.
The Dual-Lens Camera Tapo C675D KIT comes with two cameras, of which one offers the traditional wide-angle footage. The other one can easily pan, tilt, and zoom in to capture details. The design is ideal for eliminating blind spots while monitoring large areas like yards, ponds, and farms.
TP-Link says that both cameras capture 4K footage, which is stored locally. The device then processes the footage using an on-device AI to detect people, vehicles, or pets. While the Tapo HybridCam Duo is battery-powered, you can always pair it with a solar panel to keep it running indefinitely. Of course, you’ll want the weather to be on your side for you to be able to use it.
There’s no information about the price and availability as of now
It’s not that we haven’t seen home security cameras with pan-and-tilt cameras with zoom and movement tracking features. It is rare to see brands stick two cameras together in one setup, but TP-Link has done it. It’s worth noting that TP-Link hasn’t detailed the pricing or the date of availability of this unique home security camera setup as of now. It’ll be interesting to see the price as it might be a popular choice for customers going forward.
