vivo just launched the X200 Ultra, and it’s setting a new benchmark in mobile imaging.
Built in partnership with ZEISS and, for the first time, equipped with dual imaging chips: the VS1 and V3+. This phone pushes the boundaries of what smartphone photography can deliver.
Designed for professionals and enthusiasts alike, the X200 Ultra offers a versatile three-camera array co-engineered with ZEISS.
There’s an 85mm APO Telephoto lens for sharp, stabilized portraits; a 14mm Ultra-Wide with a large 1/1.28” sensor; and a 35mm Documentary-style lens that mirrors the natural perspective of the human eye.
Dual-chip power meets ZEISS-grade precision
The imaging system introduces a two-chip architecture. First is the new VS1 chip handles raw image pre-processing before the SoC takes over, followed by post-processing via the upgraded V3+.
The result is faster, sharper, and more dynamic photos across all lighting conditions.
For video, vivo adds its Multi-Focal Portrait Video Master feature, alongside support for 4K 60fps 10bit Log, 4K 120fps slow-motion, and cinematic-grade 4K time-lapse.
Creators get professional-grade control without leaving their phones.
The brand also unveiled the X200 Ultra Photographer Kit. This includes the top-tier 16GB + 1TB model, a ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Converter that transforms the 85mm into a 200mm f/2.3 lens, a camera-style grip with an extra 2300mAh battery, a customizable control dial, and a detachable shoulder strap.
It’s built for serious mobile photographers, minus the bulk of traditional gear.
Built for creators, powered for performance
Performance gets an upgrade too, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chip, advanced liquid cooling, and a massive 6000mAh BlueVolt battery.
With 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging, staying powered up is fast and effortless.
Up front is a 6.82-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display with 2160Hz PWM dimming. It’s sharp, color-accurate, and optimized for both photo review and daily use.
Seamless cross-device sharing and call/message sync round out the flagship experience.
Aesthetically, the X200 Ultra takes cues from professional cameras with its minimalist lens module and refined silhouette.
It’s available in Silver, Red, and Black. The device also boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for serious durability.
