Now that The Grammy’s are out the way, all eyes are turning to the next music awards. The Brits is the biggest UK event, and voting for several categories is now open to the public.
Five genre-specific awards will be decided by those at home. They are Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B Act. Better yet, voting isn’t restricted to those in the UK – the official website confirms that anyone in the world can have their say.
If you want to help pick the winner, then it’s easy. We’ve tried it ourselves on WhatsApp and broken it down into an easy step-by-step guide. Nominees include Charlie xcx, RAYE and Sam Fender, and there’s a way to support your favourite artist multiple times.
Just make sure you do so before Friday 14 February 2025 at 11:59pm GMT, as that’s when voting closes, with the winners being announced at the show on Saturday 1 March 2025 on ITV1/ITVX.
