The Pixel 9 series is Google’s star child and the Pixel 9a is hitting the news circuit hard. Regardless, that doesn’t mean that we can’t cover a bit of Pixel 10 news. In fact, we have a nice hot slice of Pixel 10 news for you guys as the model numbers for these phones were just revealed.
Before getting into the Pixel 10, the Pixel 9a has been really making the rounds in the news lately. Recently, we at Android Headlines exclusively leaked the Pixel 9a in all of its colors. It leaves nothing to the imagination. We see that this phone will come out in four colors. Along with that, we also see the bezels. We’ll learn more about this phone as time goes on.
Here are the model numbers for the Pixel 10 series
You can sometimes tell a good amount of information from a phone’s model number. Either the information is hidden within the numbers or it’s something else. As for the Pixel 10 series, one thing we can tell is that Google will repeat what it did with the Pixel 9 series. This means that the company will launch a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
In the report, we see six model numbers. The Pixel 10 will have model numbers GLBW0 and GL066, the Pixel 10 Pro will have G4QUR and GN4F5, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will have GUL82, and the Pixel Pro Fold will have GU0NP.
It seems that this release strategy worked for Google, as the Pixel 9 series sold very well. The company released a set of amazing phones last year, so that shouldn’t be surprising. What is surprising is the fact that Google might plan for an August launch again this year. Historically, the company would announce and launch its phones knee-deep into the fall. It would hold its events in early October.
Last year, Google announced the Pixel 9 series in August, right on the heels of Samsung’s second Unpacked event of the year. As per the leak, it looks like Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series on August 25th. This is a bit later than the date last year. Be that as it may, it’s still notably earlier in the year. The only thing is that an August 25th launch might put it a little close to the iPhone 17 announcement. As with any leak, you’ll want to take it with a grain of salt.
