What Is A TinyPod And How Does It Transform Your Apple Watch Into An iPod? – AugustMan India

The tinyPod has just started shipping.

The one case that gives your Apple Watch an iPod form factor, the tinyPod is a cool bit of nostalgic kit. With a built-in mechanical component, the original iPod click wheel is achieved and users can relive the moments they experienced with their pre-touch iPods and iPod Nanos.

Priced at $79, or $29 for the Lite version (sans wheel), this playful case is an accessory for your iPhone that makes functions like the phone, music player, notifications, and Apple Pay accessible in a compact package. Since the wrist detection is no longer used for the tinyPod, battery life is extended.

To use the tinyPod simply remove the back cover to the case and insert the Apple Watch without the bracelet into the back. While this does remove the Apple Watch‘s heart rate tracking feature, one of its main selling points, this minimal approach to utilising the powerful Apple Watch is quite whimsical and a playful way to display the smartwatch when not in use.

The tinyPod is currently available for the 40/41mm, 44/45mm, and 49mm Ultra. Visit tinyPod to learn more.
