Finding fame

Abigayle first started her career in motors at Volkswagen Group Customer Service HQ.

She worked at the German company for 11 years and slowly built up her car knowledge as the years went by.

Her meteoric rise to fame was almost accidental and occured during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abigayle’s car had broken down at the time, which meant she was forced to use a range of courtesy cars.

That gave her an idea.

She decided to review each of the courtesy cars she received, to help those who needed to buy a car but couldn’t access a showroom.

Big on TikTok

Abigayle shared the videos on TikTok and quickly racked up thousands of views.

Her account, She Talks Cars, now has 220,000 followers on the platform (as of November 2024).

The influencer uses her customer service knowledge to give fans tips about how to get the most out of their insurance.

She also gives fans a behind the scenes look at her life.

On her LinkedIn page, Abigayle describes herself as a “northern, AUDHD, Muslim, Mixed Race WOMAN Talking About Cars”.

Abigayle regularly posts about her faith and about living with AUDHD (Autism and ADHD) on her social media platforms.

Interviewing Richard Hammond

Abigayle has interviewed motoring legend Richard Hammond on her TikTok account.

Richard said that he dreamed of owning an original 911 Carrera RS and a pre war 27.

He also gave a hilarious piece of advice for new drivers.

Richard said: “You’re not as good as you think you are.

“I know I wasn’t.”

The Top Gear presenter even gave his thoughts on the future of driving, which relies on climate damaging fossil fuels.

He said that “we can’t keep digging up fossil fuels” and added that electric cars are an “essential part of the picture”, when it comes to solving the climate crisis.
