Woman wanted after she allegedly steals vehicle at Opelika dealership – WTVM

OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) – Opelika police are investigating a September theft at the Glynn Smith Chevrolet GMC on Columbus Parkway.

Police say the vehicle has been located, but they still need the public’s help identifying the suspect.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect wearing a white hoodie, torn blue jeans, black slippers with pink smiley faces, and carrying a tan cross-body bag. She also has brown hair.

The suspect allegedly entered the dealership on Sept. 28, asked to use a phone, and grabbed a key fob from the sales desk when she turned to leave.

Officials say the woman used the key fob to locate a Black 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 AT4 Crew Cab in the parking lot and left in the car, turning right on Columbus Parkway and heading west.

You can contact the Opelika Police Department Detective Division at 334-705-5220 or the Secret Witness Hotline at 334-745-8665 if you have information on this case.
