Summary: A wood grain Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has appeared in a short video, showing us the entire unfolding and folding process. We’re not sure if that’s actual wood on the back, or is it just imitating one. Regardless, the phone does look very nice in this video. This handset will launch under a different name in the US, it’ll be called the Motorola Razr+ 2025.
Here’s something we did not expect, a wood grain Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, and yet that’s exactly what just popped up. Evan Blass aka @evleaks shared a short video showing the device.
Wood grain Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has appeared in a short video
You can check out the video below this paragraph. The phone is shown in both folded and unfolded states, while the process of unfolding and folding is also nicely presented here. The most interesting part of this leak is the backplate on the device.
You can clearly see that it has a wood pattern on the back. Now, we’re not sure if this is actually wood or just some other material that has a wood pattern on it. Regardless, it looks really nice. Evan Blass did not provide any additional information.
This handset does remind us of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s Nordic Wood model, that’s for sure. It does look better than that phone, in our opinion, though. This actually looks like real wood.
This device will have a different name in the US
The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra surfaced a number of times thus far, and as many of you know, it will launch as the Motorola Razr+ 2025 in the US. Motorola does that every year for whatever reason.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to fuel this smartphone, and we exclusively shared its design last month. The phone will also support faster wired charging compared to its sibling. It’s expected to offer 68W charging.
Some leaked renders also showed us the Rio Red variant of the phone, from all sides, basically. A 6.9-inch main display is expected, along with a 4-inch cover panel. The phone will likely include 12GB of RAM and feature a 4,000mAh battery.
