WWDC 2025: How to attend the in-person event at Apple Park – 9to5Mac

Apple this week officially confirmed that WWDC 2025, the next edition of the company’s annual conference for developers, will be held from June 9 to 13. Although the event will be streamed online, the company will hold an in-person opening keynote at Apple Park, and you may be eligible to apply for a ticket.

WWDC 2025 in-person event

On June 9, the company will hold a special event to kick off WWDC 2025, and some developers will be invited to attend the opening keynote live at Apple Park along with Apple employees and members of the press. If you’re an eligible developer, you can apply to attend the event for free.

Here’s who can apply:

  • Apple Developer Program registered members
  • Apple Developer Enterprise Program registered members
  • Swift Student Challenge winners (2023 to 2025)

It’s worth noting that only developers who pay for the membership program can apply. In the US, the subscription costs $99 per year for individual members.

If you’re an eligible developer, all you need to do is visit this WWDC 2025 webpage on the Apple Developer website and click “Apply now.” Sign in with your Apple Account and confirm your personal details. Developers can apply until 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 2.

Apple says that developers will be chosen “by a random selection” and “nontransferable” process. Those who are invited will be notified by the end of April 3. The company also notes that “distinguished winners” of the Swift Student Challenge 2025 will be automatically invited to a three-day experience in Cupertino that also includes the special event at Apple Park.
