Xfinity is boosting its speeds, and not its prices
Comcast just delivered a treat for its 20 million Xfinity Internet customers. According to the new report, the company just boosted both the upload speeds and download speeds for their customers. Now, users can enjoy upload speeds that are 50% to 100% faster than before. So, people can upload their videos and other content in a flash. Unfortunately, Comcast did not elaborate on the new speeds, so customers may need to contact the company or look at the fine print.
The download speeds also got a boost. Just like with the upload speeds, Comcast was mum about the improvements. What we can guess is that it’s not as significant as the boost they’re seeing with the upload speeds, otherwise, the company would have mentioned it. In any case, any speed increase for no extra money is always welcomed.

Along with the speed boost, Comcast is offering new and existing customers a full year of unlimited internet when they sign up for a 400Mbps or higher plan. Additionally, Xfinity Mobiles and Comcast Business Mobile customers can get up to 1Gbps speeds no matter what payment tier they select.
