The Xiaomi 15 series will become official tomorrow, and as we’re waiting for that to happen, Xiaomi released some camera samples for us to check out. Before we get to that, do note that tomorrow is a launch event in China, the global launch will take place later on.
The official Xiaomi 15 series camera samples are out
In the gallery below, you can see camera samples from the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s main camera. The main camera will retain an f/1.4 aperture, it seems. That will be a 50-megapixel camera, by the way.
Xiaomi also shared some camera samples from the ‘Pro’ model’s telephoto unit. That phone is expected to include a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.5. That camera will offer an equivalent of a 120mm lens.
Photos from the regular Xiaomi 15 also look really good
Now, the company also shared some camera samples from the regular Xiaomi 15. If you check out the images below, you’ll see two camera samples from the phone’s 3.2x telephoto camera. One of them i sa crop from that telephoto camera and it reaches 5x zoom.

Xiaomi will include improved image processing to the mix, with a touch of AI
Leica will once again be a part of the package, and you’ll be able to choose between ‘Leica Authentic’ and ‘Leica Vibrant’ shooting modes. Xiaomi is also very proud of its AISP 2.0 AI-aided image processing. It is supposed to reduce the processing time by 82% and improve image quality too.
It was also confirmed that the base Xiaomi 15 model will come with 12GB of RAM in its base model. The Xiaomi 15 Pro will include a 6,100mAh battery, and an upgraded 5x telephoto periscope camera. Oh, and by the way, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra won’t be coming tomorrow. That handset is expected to land next year.
