The Xiaomi MIX Flip offers a set of amazing specs and an eye-catching design. The foldable’s 4,780mAh battery is especially big, outperforming even the larger Galaxy Z Fold 6’s. The 4″ external display surrounded by narrow bezels reduces the need to open the device. Xiaomi didn’t skimp on power either, turning to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The company launched the phone in July in China, generating a lot of interest among the geek public. Since then, people in the global market have been eagerly awaiting it. Fortunately, the wait is about to end, as Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, officially confirmed that the MIX Flip’s global launch will happen this September. The announcement comes at a sweet time for the company. In August, Xiaomi surpassed Apple to become the second-largest smartphone brand in the world. One of the factors mentioned in the report is the brand’s increasing commitment to the premium segment, and the Xiaomi MIX Flip is part of that strategy. It’s worth noting that the global launch will probably not reach the United States since Xiaomi’s smartphones are not usually present in Uncle Sam’s land.
