Lyle Rapacki, host of Yavapai Speaks, talks to Kelly Kading, an expert on transportation, roads and the EPA here in Yavapai County.
Mr. Kading explains that there are five main roads in Prescott. If anything happens to one of the roads, the others fill up and become a parking lot. The population growth rate of Prescott is a steady 2% every year. Unless something is done soon (road widening, adding smaller roads), we will hit a saturation point.
He mentions roundabouts and their problems, design questions, and uses a number of local examples.
